      Deceased Name: James J. (Jim) Nesrsta

      James J. (Jim) Nesrsta passed away on September 21, 2006. Jim was born in La Grange, Texas on June 4, 1920. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol of 60 years and by his sons James Jr. and wife Susan, Steve and his wife Darnell, Paul and his wife Patricia, six grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
       
      Jim spent 4 years on active duty in the United States Air Force during World War II and 2 years active duty during the Korean Conflict and 22 years as an electronics technician in the Air Force Logistics Command. He retired in 1982 having attained the position of Supervisory Equipment Specialist. He then spent the ensuing years assembling and refinishing golf clubs. He was an avid golfer and President Emeritus of the San Antonio Retirees Golf Assoc.
       
      Services Visitation will be Sunday at 6:30 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church, 3814 Nash Blvd. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, September 25, 2006 at 12:30 PM at Holy Name Catholic Church. The family will receive visitors at the church at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Dellcrest Funeral Home
