KENNETH J. TRONICEKSHINER - Kenneth J. Tronicek, 67, of Shiner, passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.He was born on Jan. 29, 1943 in Houston. He was raised by Joseph and Annie Pilat Tronicek in Shiner.
He was the former owner of Ken's Kar Parts in Shiner, veteran of the U.S. Army and member of Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and choir.
Survivors: wife, Judy Tronicek; son, Rusty Tronicek and wife Shannon all of Shiner; daughter, Tracy Chudej and husband Chris of Mountain Home, Ark.; grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Hanna, Emma and Eli. Preceded in death by: Ann and Sidney Hutto and sister, Jo Ann Tronicek.
Visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with Deacon Paul Patek officiating.
Funeral at noon on Saturday at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Knippenberg officiating. Interment at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers: Michael, Darryl, Mark and Paul Malinovsky, Mike Matula, J. R. Peters, Gary Hartman and Leonard Caka.
Honorary pallbearer: Tim Malinovsky.
