Funeral services were held on Thanksgiving Day for Mr. Louis Osina, 46, at Needville, with the Rev. Father Klobouk officiating.  Interment was made in the Needville Cemetery.

Mr. Osina was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Osina of Holman, and was a farmer by occupation.  He was married to Miss Martha Stavinoha on January 26, 1918, at Ammannsville, and for the past several years the couple have made Needville their home.  Mr. Osina had been in failing health for the past three years.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Osina of Weimar attended the funeral.

His survivors are his wife and one son, Ernest Osina, who is now in the U.S. navy and stationed in California; four brothers, Will, John and Joe, of here and Chas. of El Campo; also three half-brothers, Frank Cernosek of La Grange, Ignac Cernosek of Schulenburg and Henry Cernosek of Richmond.  Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Theo. Sassin of Holman and Mrs. Ed Steffek of El Campo.
