Janie Olshovsky Vittitow, age 55 years, 6 months and 3 days of Alvin , formerly of Danbury , died Saturday, August 2, 1997 in Houston .
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Danbury .
Burial was in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Danbury under the direction of Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
She was born Jan. 29, 1942 in Shiner to Mary Ann Olshovsky and the late Rudy Olshovsky. She was a 27-year resident of Alvin .
Serving as pallbearers were Jamie Olshovsky, Michael McAdams, Chris Clawson, Bobby Anderson, Shawn McAdams and John L. McAdams III.
She is survived by her mother who resides in Angleton; two sons, John Lewis McAdams, III and his wife, Brenda of Houston and Michael Allen McAdams of Alvin; one daughter, Shannon Leanette Novak of Rosharn [Rosharon], one brother, Leonard Olshovsky and his wife Carolyn of Lake Jackson; two sisters, Louise Bullard and her husband, Gary of Angleton and Dorothy Hunter and her husband Bill of West Columbia; and four grandchildren, Shawn Lee McAdams, Jason Ray McAdams, Anton Lewis Novak and Tiffany Leanette Novak.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John L. McAdams II and Rodney Vittitow; her father, Aug. 28, 1995 ; and one brother, Ernest James Olshovsky, Oct. 1, 1989 .
