Agnes Horky Drury
Rosary for Agnes Horky Drury, 76, of Angleton, will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in the Palms Chapel of the Roses. Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 3, in St. Basil Catholic Church of Angleton, with Father Bill Coughlin, C.S.B., officiating. Interment will follow in Angleton Cemetery .
Originally from Yoakum, Mrs. Drury had been an Angleton resident for more than 56 years. She was a homemaker, a member of the Catholic K.J.Z.T. Fraternal of Texas for more than 50 years, and was a life member of the F.O.E. Auxiliary #3111.
She died Tuesday, Oct. 31, at her home.
Survivors include three sons, Frank Drury of Angleton, Emil Drury of Pasadena, and Charlie Drury of Houston; two daughters, Frances Nixon of Angleton and Mary Ann Machac of Lake Jackson; two brothers, Leo Horky of Angleton and Louis Horky of Freeport; 17 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be David Drury, Jeff Drury, Howard Atkins, Mark Machac, Jimmy Birdwell, and Robert Nixon Jr.
Arrangements are under the direction of Palms Funeral Home Inc., Angleton.
