Ty, I'll check at the El Campo library for the 1935 obit.  I found the date of death as Aug. 6, 1935.  Do you know if the first Joseph Wenglar died or was buried in Louise or El Campo?  If so, I'll look for that one too if you can give me an exact date of death.

Do you have an obit for Joseph John Wenglar who was murdered in El Campo in 1990?  If not, I have a copy of an article/obit from the Edna Herald that I can send in and I can also look for it in the El Campo paper.

              Nancy,

Thanks for the help.  Joe (1935) Wenglar is buried in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in El Campo.  He died 6 Aug 1935.   I would love to have the Obit if you come across it.

Joe Sr. is the hard one to find.  I only know that he died around 1901 in Lakeview or El Campo.  From what I understand he committed suicide a year or so after the death of his wife.  As such the family kind of "swept it under the rug" as suicide was more taboo then, especially in the Catholic Church, and now 100 years later no one remembers the truth.

I would also love the copy of the article for Joe John.  I have the El Campo Obit but would love the one from Edna as well.  I'm trying to put together a complete history....not just the good parts so I want to include that as well.

              Ty

Ty, I was looking at your family tree at Ancestry.com a few days ago and I saw a Sebesta Family History listed as a source. Is that a book that is available

Ty, I was looking at your family tree at Ancestry.com a few days ago and I saw a Sebesta Family History listed as a source.  Is that a book that is available for sale or is it research that you have had done for you?  Seems like there was another source listed that I had a question about, but now I can't remember what it was...LOL!

When I take a break from my Janik family and go to work on my Knebel and Holub families, I'll get with you to see what you might have that I am missing.

I'd offer to share my Holub/Sebesta information, but I think you have gone far beyond what I have!
