      VERNON -- Services for Mrs. Ed Schoppa, 84, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church here with burial in Wilburger Memorial Park.
       
      Sullivan Funeral Home handled arrangements.
       
      Mrs. Schoppa died about 6 p.m. Monday in University Hospital in Lubbock following a lengthy illness.
       
      Mrs. Schoppa had been a resident of Vernon until three years ago when she moved to a convalescent home in Lubbock.
       
      She was preceded in death by her husband two years ago.
       
      Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. August Schwartz and Mrs. Joe Gilley, both of Vernon, Mrs. Walter Nierlich of 2620 2nd St., Lubbock, Mrs. Walter Mildred Mickan of Copperas Cove and Mrs. Paul Gruetz_er of Shallowsater; and three sons, Sylvin and Henry both of Rt. 1 Lubbock and Elroy of LaHabra, Calif.
