      HOUSTON -- Claude R. Bonham, 88, died Monday, Sept. 8, 1997.
       
      Services are scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at Woodlawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Guy A. Fregeau officiating.  Burial will be in Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
       
      He was a faithful member of the Roman Catholic faith.  He retired from Nabisco, after 33 years of service and was a veteran of World War II having served in Europe with the Army.  He was a member of Spring Branch V.F.W. Post 8790.
       
      Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Josephine Skopik Bonham; two sisters, Gertrude Winn and husband Lloyd of Paris and Genevieve Anderson of Lakewood, Colo., numerous nieces and nephews including Helen Short of Powderly and Donald Bonham of Paris; and a sister-in-law, Ida Mae Bonham of Paris.
       
      Pallbearers will be Donald Bonham, Gary Connally, James C. Connally, Carroll Pimpler, Ricky Pimpler and Mark M. Sacco.
