      Funeral services were held from the Schmidt Funeral Chapel on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 19, for Johnnie Emanuel Skrivanek.  Interment was in the Pattison Methodist Cemetery, with Rev. A. C. Liefer officiating.
       
      Mr. Skrivanek died Saturday in the Sealy hospital of injuries received in an accident a week earlier.  On Saturday, Oct. 11, the pickup which he was driving was in collision with another on FM Road 359.  He was taken to the Sealy Hospital with internal injuries where an emergency operation was performed on Sunday afternoon in an effort to save his life.  He was 32 years old on his last birthday, March 5.  he raised cattle and farmed.
       
      He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Skrivanek of San Felipe, and was born there March 5, 1926.  On Sept. 28, 1947 he was married to Miss Iva Schumacher, and the couple have two children, Albina Ann 4, and William John, 3 years old.
       
      Besides his wife and two children and his parents, survivors also include his two brothers, L. F. Skrivanek of Pasadena and Robert Skrivanek of San Felipe, his sister, Mrs. J. B. Breeden of Deanville, other relatives and friends.
       
      Johnnie was a navy veteran of World War II.  He was a member of the Moravian Brethren Church.
       
      Pallbearers were John Wilson, Bill Sodolak, Andrew Schumacher, Frank Harrison, Frank Skrivanek of Rosenberg and George Valcar.
