      Virginia Stavinoha of Canyon Lake died Thursday Sept. 15, 1994, in San Antonio at the age of 72 years.  She was born Aug. 4, 1922 in Devine, Texas, to George and Henrietta (Ehlinger) Kempf.  Her husband Ray Stavinoha preceded her in death in 1985.  Mrs. Stavinoha was the retired owner of a boat dealership at Canyon Lake.
       
      Survivors include two sons, Jim Stavinoha and wife Sharon of Fairfax, Va., and Mike Stavinoha and wife Stacy of Canyon Lake; sisters Thelma Stephenson of Hobbs, N.M., Catherine Atkins of new Braunfels and Lillian Breeden of Devine, Texas; brother George Kempf of Floresville and four grandchildren.
       
      Funeral services will be Saturday Sept. 17, 1994, at 2 p.m. at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in Canyon Lake with Mr. Gerry Adams officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home at Canyon Lake with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice New Braunfels.
