Funeral services for Anastazie Stasney, 73, of Beasley will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2004, at Guardian Angel Church in Wallis with the Rev. Richard Johnston officiating.
Interment will follow at the Guardian Angel Cemetery near Wallis.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a parish Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m.
Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Minton, Brad Bacak, Bobby Stasney, Eddie Macha, Jerry Wayne Polasek and Michael Polasek.
Anastazie was born in Wallis to parents Frank and Amalie Hanzelka Chalupa. She was raised in the Tavener area and attended Orchard School. Anastazie held many jobs in her working career: teller in a bank, owner-operator of Alan's restaurant in East Bernard, and was a farmer for the past 24 years.
Anastazie Stasney died Tuesday, June 20, 2004 in Houston.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Amalie Chalupa; brothers, John Chalupa, Frank Chalupa and an infant twin brother.
She is survived by her spouse, Joe George Stasney; son, Alan Stasney and his wife, Lisa, of Beasley; sisters, Bessie Polasek and her husband, Jerry, and Dolores Chalupa of Bay City; brothers, Ed Chalupa and his wife, Bea, of Frydek, and Robert Chalupa and his wife, Janet; grandchildren, Samantha, Aaron and Jennifer Stasney.
Funeral services are under the direction of Knesek and Sons Funeral Home, 122 North F.M. 1093, Wallis, Texas 77485. 979-478-6311.
