      Weimar, Tex., Feb. 27.-- Funeral services for Mrs. Fred Steffek, 40, were held Saturday morning at St. Michael's Church, with Rev. Joseph Szymanski officiating.  Mrs. Steffcik died at her home in Holman Friday following a brief illness of pneumonia.  Mrs. Steffek was born and reared near Borden and was widely known in this part of the state. 
       
      Surviving besides her husband, Fred Steffek Sr., are a son and daughter, her mother, Mrs. Val Kusey; five sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Louis Chavstil, Mrs. Vlasta Shumbera, Mrs. Minnie Kuchar of Weimar, Mrs. Hattie Labay of Garwood, Mrs. Olga Taylor of San Antonio, Frank and Florian Kroboth of Weimar, Stanley and Willie Kroboth of San Diego, Cal.  Interment was in St. Michael's Cemetery.
