      HITCHCOCK--Mrs. Elizabeth Meyers, 74, of 9306 Woodacres in Hitchcock, died Thursday at Galveston County Memorial Hospital in Texas City.
       
      Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of the James Crowder Funeral Home in La marque with the Rev. Joel T. Williamson Jr. officiating.
       
      Burial will be in Grace Memorial Park in Alta Loma.
       
      Mrs. Meyers was born Sept. 15, 1903, in Czechoslovakia.  She was a resident of Hitchcock for 36 years, a member of Grace Bible Church and the American Association of Retired Persons of Texas City.
       
      Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. K. D. Glenn of Texas City, Mrs. J. G. Johnson of Hitchcock, Mrs. S. C. Howe of Brooks, Ore., Mrs. Gene Smith of Rusk, Texas, and Miss Catherine Meyers of Richmond, Texas; two sons, E. C. Meyers of Pasadena, Texas, and R. E. Meyers of Nacogdoches; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Koslovsky and Mrs. Josephine Janak, both of Rosebud, Texas; a brother, Jim Svoboda of Rosebud, Texas; 17 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
       
      Pallbearers will be Mark Johnson, Kirk Johnson, Jeff Johnson, Dale Johnson, Michael Glenn and Kelly Glenn.
       
      Visitors may call at the funeral home after 8 a.m. today.
