      EL CAMPO - Ignatius J. "I.J." "Rock" Mazoch, 76, of El Campo, died Monday, July 12, 2004.

      He was born Nov. 12, 1927, in El Campo, to the late John and Mary Kocurek Mazoch. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and VFW. He was a retired pipeline foreman for Transcontinental Pipeline for 35 years and a member of St. Philip's Church.

      Survivors: wife, Annie Nedbalek of El Campo; daughters, Patricia Lamberth of Fort Worth, Annette Martin of Prairieville, La., and Sheila Bourque and Victoria Sweeney, both of Gonzales, La.; sons, John Mazoch Jr. of Bueche, La., and Brent Mazoch of Zachary, La.; sisters, Martha Marek and Beatrice Yockey, both of El Campo, and Edith Rahunek of Wharton; brothers, Joe Mazoch of Cuero and Alfonce Mazoch of El Campo; and 10 grandchildren.

      Preceded in death by: son, Ricky Mazoch.

      A rosary will be recited 10 a.m. today at St. Philip's Catholic Church.

      Services will be 10:30 a.m. today at the church, the Rev. Gary Janak officiating.

      Entombment will be in Gonzales, La. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo, 979-543-3681.

      Pallbearers: Ryan Lambert, Clay Lambert, Matthew Mazoch, Jay Bourque, Jared Bourque, Lex Sweeney, and Brad Mazoch.

      Memorials: St. Philip's Catholic Church or Hospice Support Inc.
