      Sybil Vincent Fajkus Tupa

      Sybil Vincent Fajkus Tupa born January 22, 1927 passed away Monday, March 29, 2004 at Kirkwood Manor in New Braunfels at the age of 77 years.

      Mrs. Tupa married her husband Charles Tupa on June 24, 1946 and was preceded in death by him in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jeff Scott in 2003, 2 brothers, Ivan Fajkus and Edward Fajkus, 1 sister, Mary Luna and husband Clude Luna of TN., and parents, Jim and Annie Fajkus of La Grange.
       
      Mrs. Tupa is survived by her 2 children, Dorothy Seidel and Charlene Scott both of New Braunfels; 5 grandchildren, Laura Scott Richter and husband, Tim of Seguin, Stephen Scott of Dallas, Jo An Seidel Jentsch and husband, Darrell of New Braunfels, Kenneth Roy Seidel, Jr., and wife La Wanda of Harwood; also 5 great-grandchildren, Skylair Richter and Emily Richter of Seguin, Dylan Jentsch of New Braunfels, Amber Seidel and Justin Seidel of Harwood.

      Mrs. Tupa retired from H.E.B. Grocery Store after 28 years of service and went on to work at Lucille's Thrift Shop at the Teen Connection and the Nancy Ney Charter School. The children at Nancy Ney's were very important to her. She was a strong loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Everyone she met knew her as "Memo".
       
      Mrs. Tupa was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and St. Ann's Christian Mothers. She will be greatly missed.

      Visitation will begin Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at 4 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home. A rosary will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m. at the Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral procession will depart on Thursday, April 1, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. for a 2 p.m. mass at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Mausoleum.
       
      Memorials may be given to the Nancy Ney Charter School in memory of Mrs. Tupa. Arrangements under the direction of Zoeller Funeral Home.
