Services for John William Trcalek Sr., 91, of Caldwell are set for 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell.
Henry Beseda and Bishop J.D. Dearman will officiate. Burial will be in Caldwell
Masonic Cemetery with military honors under the auspices of Veterans of Foreign
Wars Post No. 4458 of Caldwell.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Trcalek died Sunday at Sheridan on Rock Prairie in College Station.
was born in Burleson County. He was a retired truck driver and was a member of
New Tabor Brethren Church. He served as a sergeant with the U.S. Army during
World War II. He was a life member of SPJST Lodge No. 17 in New Tabor, was a
member of VFW Post No. 4458, American Legion Post No. 451 and the International
Brotherhood of Teamsters.
He was preceded in death by a daughter,
Survivors include his wife, Marie Janacek Trcalek of Caldwell;
two sons and daughters-in-law, John W. Jr. and Rhonda Richardson Trcalek and
Daniel and Barbara Dearman Trcalek, all of Bryan; a daughter, Geneva Trcalek of
Caldwell; and three grandchildren.
