      Johnie Mraz
      Mass of the Christian Burial for Johnie Inez Mraz was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. John Catholic Church with the Rev. Fred Caldwell as celebrant. Rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Keever Chapel. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

      Mrs. Mraz, 92, died Saturday, June 26, 2004, at the IOOF Nursing Home in Ennis. She was born Nov. 7, 1911, in Huntsville, AL, the daughter of John and Bessie Gunn Smith.

      On Dec. 23, 1928, she was married to Tommie V. Mraz of Ennis. After their marriage they lived in Ennis. In 1941 they moved to Austin and in 1947 they returned to Ennis. Mr. Mraz preceded her in death on March 18, 1977.

      She was a member of St. John Catholic Church. She is survived by four sons and their wives, Richard and Janie Mraz, Ronald and Carol Mraz, Thomas Mraz all of Ennis, Billy and Linda Mraz of Cedar Hill; two daughters and their husbands, Patricia and Durwood Anthony of Lee's Summit, Mo., Joyce and Gary Just of Arkansas, Kan.; a sister, Estella Douglas of Athens, Texas; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
       
      She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Mraz, and a sister, Helen Matthews.
