Adela Eggemeyer, 89, of El Campo,
died Wednesday, October 15, 2003.
She was born Aug. 1, 1914 in El Campo to Louise Mazoch and Philomena
Buzek Mazoch Nohavitza. Mrs. Eggemeyer was a member of Catholic Daughters and
S.P.J.S.T. and had received her 50 year pin. She was a cafeteria worker for
Prudential Life Insurance and a member of St. Philip Catholic Church.
Survivors include her cousin, Geraldine Buzek Powell of Georgetown and
Mrs. Eggemeyer was preceded in death by her parents; adopted father, Joe
Nohavitza; and sister, Emily Richter.
A Rosary was recited on Friday, Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. at St. Philip the
Apostle Catholic Church. The Funeral mass followed at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev.
Gary Janak officiating.
Interment followed at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Nada under the direction
of Triska Funeral Home.
