      MARY ALBINA SVOBODA
       
      Services for Mary Albina Svoboda, 89, of Sealy were held June 24 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Sealy with the Rev. David DuBois officiating.
       
      Burial followed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Sealy.
       
      Mrs. Svoboda died June 22 in Katy.
       
      She was born in Frydek, the daughter of John and Marie Poncik Mazac.  She was raised and attended school in Frydek.  Mrs. Svoboda was united in marriage with Charlie Svoboda on Oct. 29, 1936 in Frydek.
       
      She was a homemaker and best known for baking kolaches.  She baked kolaches for the K.C. bingo until her health failed her.  She was a member of the KJZT, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.
       
      Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patsy and Butch Dean; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Henritta Svoboda and Charlie and Jeanette Svoboda; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
       
      She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, Joe and Louis Mazac, and sister Rosie Kveton.
       
      Pallbearers were Robert Jr., Michael, Jimmy, David, and Donovan Svoboda and Dennis Zylka.
       
      Funeral services under the direction of Knesek Family Funeral Chapels in Sealy.
