      Mass of Christian burial for George Muras Jr., 57, of La Grange was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2008 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hostyn with Msgr. Stanley Petru and Deacon John McCourt officiating.  Interment was in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.
       
      He died Aug. 13, 2008.
       
      Muras was born May 23, 1951 in La Grange, the son of George E. and Martha (Rainosek) Muras, Sr.  He married Rosalyn (Mazoch) Muras May 21, 1977 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ammannsville.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus No. 2574 and KJT No. 4 in La Grange.
       
      He is preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Ladis J. Mazoch.
       
      Survivors include his wife; sons, Chad Muras and wife Stephanie of Waxahachie and Mark Muras and wife Ashley of Shiner; daughters, Kace Lee and husband Jerret of Weimar and Sara Muras of La Grange; granddaughters, Caitlyn Muras and Zowie Lee; mother-in-law, Lillian Mazoch; four sisters-in-law; three brothers-in-law.
       
      Memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Catholic Church or to the George E. Muras Jr. Memorial Fund at Round Top State Bank in La Grange.
       
      Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home of La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
