      Billy W. Dvorak, 75, of El Campo, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008.

      He was born on Dec. 27, 1932 in Yoakum to Andrew and Luera Cooper Dvorak. He was a retired production supervisor for Golding Production Company and had served in the U.S. Army.

      Survivors include his wife, Louise Dvorak of El Campo; son, Paul Dvorak and wife Betsy of San Antonio; step-sons, Michael Rod and wife Debbie of Brenham and Duane Rod and wife Dolly of Ingleside; sister, Immogene Donnelly and husband Laverne of Angleton; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

      He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Barbara Bain; and brothers, Ervin and Robert Dvorak.

      Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 12 p.m. at Triska Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 4 at 10 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church with the Rev. Pete Lopez officiating. Burial will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

      Pallbearers will be Douglas Ondrias, Gene Doyle, Larry Donnelly, James Rod, Dominic Gonzales and Mike Nordin.

      Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Barbee, Andy Staff and Bobby McClure.

      Memorial donations in memory of Billy W. Dvorak may be made to Houston Hospice of El Campo, or to the American Cancer Society.
