ANNA MARIE H. BROWNVICTORIA - Anna Marie Hrabovsky Brown, age 83, of Victoria, passed away Saturday, Nov. 29.She was born July 15, 1925, in DeWitt County, near Yoakum. She was the daughter of Joseph F. and Mary E. Hrabovsky. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and a member of K.J.Z.T. Anna Marie was well known in the bowling community as an excellent bowler, friend, mentor and coach.
She is survived by her daughter, Pamela R. Brown of Corpus Christi; son, Nathan B. Brown and wife Gloria of Lockhart; sisters, Vickie Moody, Mary Ann Bernhard and Rosalie Roemer, all of Victoria, and Agnes Lawrence of Cedar City, Utah; grandchildren, Brandi Brown and Zachary Brown, both of Lockhart; step-grandchildren, Lucas, Justin, Joshua, Seth Paul and Sarah Halley, all of Lockhart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph F. and Mary E. Hrabovsky; her husband, Warren Henry Brown; brothers, Jody, Louis and Edward Hrabovsky.
Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m., Monday, at Colonial Funeral Home, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor James C. Brunner officiating. Burial will follow at the Catholic Cemetery III.
Pallbearers include Joshua Halley, Seth Paul Halley, Randy Bernhard, Burton Brown, Virgil Brown and James A. Hrabovsky. E.C. Brown will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
