VIOLA C. GRAHMANNHALLETTSVILLE - Viola C. Grahmann, 70, died July 31, 2008. She was born June 1, 1938 to Julius J. and Helen Woitaske Grahmann. She was a member of numerous organizations including the Catholic Daughters of Americas and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Hallettsville.
Survivors: brothers, David J. Grahmann and wife Norma of Stafford, Andrew J. Grahmann and wife Bessie of Stafford; sisters, Frances Hanslik and husband Julius of Moulton, Irene Barton of Koerth, Gertrude Janak and husband Eugene of Hallettsville, Virginia Pustka and husband John of Shiner, Mary Bruening and husband Robert of Shelby; brother-in-law, Arthur Spies; numerous nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by: parents; sister, Thelma Spies; nephew, Mark Hanslik; niece, Ann Spies; brother-in-law, Ben Barton.
Service is at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 2, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hallettsville. Visitation is at 2 p.m., Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home. Rosaries are at 7 p.m., Friday, at Kubena Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m., Saturday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Officiating is the Rev. John Peters. Burial is at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.Memorials: Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Hospice of South Texas, or charity of your choice.
