      FRANCES JANAK ANDERLE

      POINT COMFORT - Frances Janak Anderle, 87, of Point Comfort, passed away June 1, 2008.
       
      She was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Shiner, to the late Rudolph and Julia Fikac Janak.
      She was a member of St. Ann's Altar Society, played Ladies Softball in the early 1960's for Point Comfort; was a member of Catholic Life, KJZT, and the VFW Ladies Auxillary.
       
      She is survived by her daughters, Diane Billings and husband Michael of Port Lavaca, Carolyn Burrier and husband Jesse of Stockdale, and Shirley Dabbs and husband Homer of Point Comfort; sons, Robert F. Anderle and wife Rosalie of Port Lavaca, Edwin Anderle and wife Kathy of Point Comfort, Anton Joe Anderle and wife Sue of St. Augustine, Fla., Kenneth Anderle and wife Judy of Shiner, and Calvin Anderle and wife Sharon of Port Lavaca; sister, Stacie Wagner of Shiner; brothers, Victor Janak of Hallettsville and Charles Janak of Rockdale; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anderle, whom she married Jan. 25, 1944 in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hallettsville; parents; brothers, Anton, Celestine, Joe, Leon, and Alex Janak; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.

      Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2008, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m., in Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca, Fr. Gary Janak officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria.
