Alois Cyril Dornak, 82, went to be with our Heavenly Father on
Wednesday, May 07, 2008. He was born on December 08, 1925 in
Wealder, Texas to Cyril and Mary Pesl Dornak. Alois was a manager of
Snapka Restaurant for over twenty years, a member of St. John
Catholic Church and a longtime resident of Robstown. He was a very
loving and caring husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-
grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by all who loved
and knew him. Alois also proudly served his country during World War
II in the United States Navy.
He goes home to reunite with his parents: Cyril and Mary Dornak, his
son: Anthony Dornak, and three brothers: Willie Dornak, Anton Dornak
and Cyril Dornak, Jr., who preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Lillie Dornak of
Robstown, Texas, his children: Erwin Dornak of Robstown, Texas,
Glenn Dornak of Corpus Christi, Texas, Grace (Phil) Rodgers of
Halletsville, Texas, Chris (Tammy) Dornak of Republic, Missouri,
Blaise Dornak of Robstown, Texas, two brothers: Henry (Lillie)
Dornak of Moulton, Texas, Victor Dornak of Jacksonville, Florida,
one sister-in-law; Annie Dornak of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was
also blessed and adored by his numerous grandchildren and great-
grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation on Sunday, May 11, 2008 will be from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00
p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. The
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2008 at St.
John Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas with visitation beginning at
10:00 a.m. that same morning. Interment will follow in Memorial Park
Cemetery. The Family of Alois would like to extend a Special Thanks
to the Doctors and Staff of Retama Manor North in Corpus Christi for
their unconditional love and attention given to Mr. Dornak and his
family during their time of need.
