FRANK JOHN VOLDAN JR.EL CAMPO - Frank John Voldan Jr., of El Campo, died Feb. 2, 2008, at the age of 94. He was born Oct. 10, 1913, in Ammansville, to the late Frank John Sr. and Rosie Migl Voldan. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Wendel Construction and South Texas Construction. He was a member of the KJT and Knights of Columbus Council 2490.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Louise Janca Voldan of El Campo; sons, James Voldan and wife Rosemary of Sugar Land, and Johnnie Voldan of Houston; daughter, Bernice Wagner and husband Larry of El Campo; grandsons, Jeff Voldan of Big Bear Lake, Calif., and David Voldan of Arlington; great-granddaughters, Kennedy and Emerson Voldan; brothers, George Voldan of Eagle Lake and Daniel Voldan of Richmond; and sister, Henrietta Koester of El Campo. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Frankie and John Voldan; and sisters, Clara Svec and Mary Barcak.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m., Monday, at Triska Funeral Home. A parish rosary will be recited 7 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 5, at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church with the Reverend Gary Janak officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Memorial Park.
