Pauline Jeannette Bonneau Sebesta was born in Angleton on February 18, 1933, to Paul and Inez Bonneau and went to the Lord on January 23, 2008, in Angleton, Texas.
Pauline was a member of the Brazoria County Extension Education Association for more than 30 years. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Pauline was named Extension Homemaker of the Year in 1986 and Volunteer of the Year by the Brazoria County Fair Association in 1991 and 1995.
Pauline was married to Leonard M. Sebesta for 50 years and had six children and 16 grandchildren. Pauline was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. Pauline lived her life by the creed, I will take what God gives me.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Leonard M. Sebesta Sr. of Angleton; her children, Leonard Matt Sebesta Jr. and wife, Monica, of Angleton, Patrick Sebesta and wife, Shannon, of Angleton, Paul Sebesta and wife, Robbe, of Angleton, Timothy Sebesta of Houston, Texas, Suzanne Dellinger and husband, Bill, of Angleton, and Julie Tally and husband, Dan, of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua Sebesta, Ryan Sebesta, Patrick Sebesta II, William Sebesta, Christopher Sebesta, Annabelle Sebesta, John Sebesta, Jacob Sebesta, Jonathan Sebesta, Misha Sebesta, Zachary Sebesta, Emily Dellinger, Allison Dellinger, Parker Tally, Payton Tally and Paige Tally. Pauline is also survived by brothers, Donald Bonneau and wife, Margaret, of Angleton, Paul Bonneau and wife, Kelly, of Anacoca, Louisiana, Robert Bonneau and wife, Joan, of Houston, James Bonneau of Houston and sisters, Mary Louise Garrett of Houston, Josephine Bonneau of Angleton, Marjorie Foudray of Brazoria, Joyce Coley and husband, Kenneth, of Angleton, Dorothy Finley and husband, Chuck, of Houston. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Hilda Naiser, of El Campo, Texas, and one brother-in-law, George Sebesta, of Bernardo, Texas.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Inez Bonneau; and her mother-in-law, Pauline Guenther Sebesta.
A funeral Mass will be held on January 26, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Angleton, Father Robert J. Duggan officiating. Interment will follow at the Angleton Cemetery.
Visitation will be at Palms Funeral Home on January 25, 2008, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Christian Wake Service (Rosary) immediately following. Pallbearers will be Larry Sebesta, Joshua Sebesta, Patrick Sebesta II, Bill Bonneau, Patrick Fuchs and Dennis Bonnen.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Churchs Building Fund in the memory of Pauline Sebesta.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of the Oncology Floor of Methodist Hospital for their compassionate care and kindness towards Mom during her illness.
