      Alfred Erwin Matocha
      ALFRED ERWIN MATOCHA, born September 7, 1927 in Smithville, TX was called to the Lord on September 1, 2007 at his longtime residence in Pearland, TX.  Alfred served his country as a United States Marine during WWII upon his graduation from high school.
       
      He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred A. & Theresa (Adamcik) Matocha, his brother Erwin Matocha, his sister Margaret (Matocha) Latta and his great grandson Ian Roberts. Alfred leaves his cherished memories to his wife of 55 years Frankie (DeWitt) Matocha; his three daughters, Theresa Whatley and husband Rodney, Kathy Pierce and husband Jerel, Cheryle Templet and husband Mark; his grandchildren Sherry Corn, Terri Yow, Kerry Brown, Mary Simmons, Robert Marks, Chad Danner, Jennifer West, Shane Danner, Alisha Pierce, Sommer Templet and Derek Templet; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.
       
      A visitation will be on Friday, September 7, 2007 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM in the Chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.
