    Sidney Joseph Sugarek, 81, died on August 27, 2007 in Beeville, Texas. Mr. Sugarek was born on December 30, 1925 in the Olmos Community to the late Emil A.

      Sidney Joseph Sugarek, 81, died on August 27, 2007 in Beeville,
      Texas. Mr. Sugarek was born on December 30, 1925 in the Olmos
      Community to the late Emil A. Sugarek and Henrietta Strouhal
      Sugarek. He wed Patricia Holbein on October 7, 1950 and they were
      married for 56 years. He was a retired oilfield gauger and
      consultant and was an active farmer and rancher all his life. He was
      an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed his annual "Dove Hunt" held
      on his farm for the past 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during
      WW II aboard the USS Banner. Survivors include his wife, Patricia H.
      Sugarek of Olmos Community; two sons, Curtis (Debbie) Sugarek of
      Mathis, Texas and Joe Sugarek of Corpus Christi, Texas; three
      daughters, Janis (Fred) Brown of San Marcos, Texas, Lorain (Ray)
      Brown of Mathis, Texas and Joan (Rockie) Stautzenberger of Skidmore,
      Texas; six grandchildren; Brad Sugarek, Chase (Michelle) Sugarek,
      Kelsey Sugarek, Sydney Jo Sugarek, Blake Stautzenberger and Robert
      Brown. Mr. Sugarek was preceded in death by three brothers; Rudy,
      Leroy, and Ray Sugarek and one sister, Ellie Sugarek Whelchel.
      Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Galloway
      and Sons Chapel from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be
      at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2007 at Galloway and Sons
      Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Skidmore,
      Texas. Serving as pallbearers are Brad Sugarek, Chase Sugarek, Blake
      Stautzenberger, Robert Brown, Shane Custer and Cody Pierdolla.
      Honorary pallbearers are Bailey Whelchel, Willie Bohac, Joe Bohac,
      Jr. Estevan Puentes, Frank Jancha, Jack Patan, Jackie Bohac and Rudy
