BETTY P. JALUFKAKENEDY - Betty P. Jalufka, 75, of Kenedy, died Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at Bluebonnet Nursing and Rehab.She was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Aldine, to the late Octavia Ward and Joseph Teague.
She was a secretary for Savings & Loan and a member of First Baptist Church. She married Alfonce "Fats" Jalufka, in Victoria, on May 7, 1949.
She is survived by her sons, David (Lea) Jalufka and Joe (Brenda) Jalufka of Ada, Okla; sister, Mary Alice Hagan of Yoakum; brothers, Marshall Teague of Conroe, Joe Teague of Huntsville, and David Teague of Bandera; and six grandchildren. Her parents and her husband preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Eckols Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the chapel, the Rev. John Wheat officiating. Burial will follow at Choate Cemetery in Choate.
Pallbearers: Cabe, Jody, Kalen, Calvin, and Charlie Jalufka, and Jarrod Presley.
