      MARY AGNES ZAKRAJSEK 47, of Carmel, IN passed away peacefully at home on June 27, 2007 surrounded by her family. Diagnosed with brain cancer in September 2005, Mary Agnes dedicated every day to living life as a prayer to God.
       
       She was born June 1, 1960 in Houston, TX to parents Maria Del Carmen Gonzalez and the late Robert D. Gonzalez. She was a graduate of St. Pius X High School and the University of Houston. Her vibrant personality and sincerity led her to a fulfilling career as a Human Resource Professional for over 25 years. Most recently she had been an H.R. Director for Con Agra Foods and the Morales Group. Prior to living in Indiana, she held positions with the Univ. of Houston, Houston Community College, and Dresser-Atlas. Mary Agnes truly loved life and was devoted to her large family.
       
      She is survived by husband, Michael A. Zakrajsek, daughters - Catherine and Mary Carmen Zakrajsek, daughter Jessica Minor (Jahaziel), sons - Michael, Robert, and David Zakrajsek; Mother, Maria Del Carmen, sisters Rose Maldonado (Robert), Dolores Quiroz (Frank), Mariana Mendez (Sixto), Margaret Gonzalez (Josue), brothers Robert (Esthella), Manuel (Mary Jane), Benedict (Laura) and Martin Gonzalez (Kathleen) and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express sincere thanks to St. Vincent Hospice, Community Home Health Care, the Wellness Community and the countless neighbors and friends for their support.
       
      Visitation and Rosary will be held at Flanner & Buchanan (Carmel) on July 1 from 3-7 pm. Mary Agnes was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church where a Funeral Mass is scheduled Monday, July 2 at 11:00 am. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
       
      Memorial contributions may be made to Birthright or the wellness community.
