FRED A. SCHUENEMANN, JR.
PORT LAVACA - Fred A. Schuenemann Jr., 73, of Port Lavaca, passed away Monday, Jan. 1, 2007.
He was born April 6, 1933, in Nordheim, to the late Fred A. Schuenemann, Sr. and Lydia Schroedter Schuenemann. He was retired from Alcoa where he worked in civil maintenance.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Bartek Schuenemann; daughters, Shirley Schuenemann, Connie Dorsey and Susan Darilek; sons, David and Richard Schuenemann, all of Port Lavaca; sister, Alberta Allman of Nordheim; brother, Jimmie Schuenemann of Nordheim; grandchildren, James Snider, Jr., Michelle Grissett, Natalie Holcomb, Cortney Schuenemann, Melissa, Eric and Holly Chance, Coy Darilek and Derek Sowa; great-grandchildren, Dustin, Bayleigh and James Snider III., Hunter Schuenemann, Denver Grissett, Taylor Creager and Keelly Snider, and Sera Nance.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today in Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Carl Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow at Six Mile Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
