SHINER - Bennie Robert Heinrich, 73, of Shiner, died Friday, Sept. 1, 2006.
He was born April 25, 1933, in Fayette County, to the late John E. and Agnes Tobola Heinrich. He was a rancher, a Catholic, and worked in the beef and poultry industry.
Survivors: wife, Dorothy Cooper Heinrich; daughters, Diana Bukowski of Houston and Catherine Valenta of Shiner; sister, Adela Christie of Houston; brothers, Alfons Heinrich and Albert Heinrich, both of Houston; and four grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: daughters, Janet Heinrich and Janice Heinrich; and brothers, Victor Heinrich and Johnnie Heinrich.
Visitation will be 2-5:30 p.m. today at Buffington Funeral Home.
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. today at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in High Hill with the Rev. Enda McKenna officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hillside. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352.
