      Betty Sue Krenek
      BETTY SUE KRENEK, 74, of Bay City died July 1, 2006 at her residence. She was born July 17, 1931 in Lovelady, Texas to Hubert Elmo and Geraldine Bitner. She had been a resident of Bay City since 1953; was a member of the First Baptist Church; and volunteered for the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Matagorda General Hospital.
       
       She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Krenek in 2001. Survivors include daughter Sue Milberger & husband Arthur of Bay City; sons B. J. Krenek & wife Celine and Gary Krenek & wife Lisa all of Bay City; sister Una Lee Webb of Houston; brothers Billy Carl Bitner of Deer Park, James Ray Bitner & John Paul Bitner both of Houston, & Hubert Elmo Bitner, Jr. of Dallas; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to Carolyn Boulden, whom they feel was an angel sent to care for their mother. Carolyn assembled a team including Zelma Davidson, Lillie Hines, Teresa West, & Iris Diaz to assist her, along with the staff of Houston Hospice of El Campo.
       
       Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Monday, July 3, 2006 at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers include Chad Krenek, Scott Covell, Jimmy Bitner, Donnie Bitner, Kenneth Bitner, Scott Stange, William Paul Bitner, David Barker, & Shane Hildreth. Honorary pallbearers include Jerry Krenek, Troy Krenek, William Krenek, Wayne Davis, Maurice Kerzee, & Tommy Thomas.
