      Paul Pietzsch

      Funeral services for Paul J. Pietzsch, 86, of East Bernard will be held at 2
      p.m. today, Tuesday, May 30, 2006, at First United Methodist Church in East
      Bernard. Interment will follow at the East Bernard Methodist Cemetery in
      East Bernard. Rev. Michael Holcombe will officiate the services.

      Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 29, 2006, at the First United
      Methodist Church, 421 Pietzsch Street in East Bernard.

      Mr. Pietzsch was born July 21, 1919, in East Bernard, to Paul and Hertha
      Otto Pietzsch. He passed away May 26, 2006, in Wharton.
      He served in the United States Air Force during World War II.

      Mr. Pietzsch is preceded in death by his parents, Paul J. and Hertha
      Pietzsch; his daughter, Lanette Haley; and sisters, Florine Matthews, Dora
      Bell Pullin, Hertha Drachenberg, Alberta Wagner; and brother, Wesley
      Pietzsch.

      He is survived by his wife, Zera Grantham Pietzsch; son, Dennis Pietzsch and
      his wife, Cynthia; grandchildren, Jason Haley and Laura Thomas, Jamie and
      Tim Siegert, Adam Haley and Nicole Kennedy, Ashley Pietzsch, Chris and Cari
      Cavness; great-grandchildren, Allison Haley and Trevor Siegert, Kirsten
      Cavness; sister, Pauline Schobel; family member, Madeline Cole, as well as
      other family and friends.

      Pallbearers will be Winfred Pullin, Buck Matthews, Ronald Drachenberg,
      Donald Guess, Kenneth Grantham and Larry Grantham.

      Honorary pallbearers will be The Joy Sunday School Class.

      For those wishing, memorials made in Paul�s name can be made to First United
      Methodist Church Building Fund, 421 Pietzsch Street, East Bernard, TX 77435.

      Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home
      in East Bernard.
