She was born on May 7, 1919 in Hungerford, the daughter of the late Joe A. Krenek and Sophie Macha Krenek.

Anyone passing her house would most likely see her working in her yard.

Pallbearers are her grandsons, David Wayne, Kenneth , Chad , Kevin, Keith, Stephen, and Will Hubenak, and Sean Hollis. Honorary pallbearers will be her granddaughters Nikole Nelson and Erin Elizabeth Hollis.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Hollis and husband, Milton of Wharton; sons, Edmund J. Hubenak Jr. and wife, Helen of Friendswood, David H. Hubenak and wife, Barbara of Wallis, Robert W.
