HILLJE - Matilda Rosie Orsak, 81, of Hillje, died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006.
She was born March 14, 1924, in Taiton, to the late Charles and Rosie
Drapela Drastata. She was a retired sales clerk for Oshman's Dry Good Store
and a member of St. Andrew's Catholic Church, St. Andrew's Altar Society,
KJZT Society, and a former member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors: daughters, Monica Martin of El Campo and Sandra Nichols of San
Antonio; sons, Gary Orsak of Bulverde and Ray Orsak of Houston; sisters,
Mary Buchta and Ann Walcik, both of Angleton; Rosie Adams of Waller, Sophie
Shell of Atlanta, and Agnes Young of Louisiana; brothers, George Drastata of
Chicago, John Drastata of Dallas, Charles Drastata and Henry Drastata, both
of Houston, and Jerry Drastata of Lolita; 11 grandchildren; and five
Preceded in death by: husband, Joe A. Orsak; and sisters, Cecilia Marek and
Frances Lutringer.Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday at Triska Funeral Home
A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Monday at the chapel.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Taiton, the
Rev. Gary Janak officiating.
Burial will be at St. John's Cemetery. Triska Funeral Home, El Campo,
