      Cecilia Frances (Ceil) Steffek

      CECILIA (CEIL) FRANCES STEFFEK beloved sister and aunt passed away on
      October 30, 2005 after a lengthy illness. She was born to Frances and John
      Steffek in Dubina, Texas. She spent most of her childhood in Needville,
      Texas, where her parents and eleven brothers and sisters settled. After high
      school graduation, she moved to Houston to attend Massey Business School and
      the University of Houston. She worked as a secretary for Southern Pacific
      Railroad, Schlumberger and Schlumberger Limited and spent the majority of
      her career as senior executive secretary for El Paso Natural Gas Company.
      Ceil was a long-standing member of Saint Michael's Catholic Church in
      Houston. She will be remembered for her sharp wit and memory, personal sense
      of style and her giving nature. She is preceded in death by her parents and
      sisters Marcella Steffek, Martha Schwettman, Christina Steffek and brothers
      Edwin Steffek, Emil Steffek and Victor Steffek. She is survived by her
      brothers John Steffek and Jerry Steffek and wife Lillian Steffek of
      Needville, and sisters Mary Zwahr of Needville, Alma Martin of Richmond,
      Texas, Evelyn Skellie and her husband Al Skellie and Loretta Whittington and
      her husband Dale Whittington, all of Houston. She is also survived by
      numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Cecilia's Life will be held on
      Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in
      Rosenberg, Texas with Father James Ramsey officiating. Open visitation will
      be held at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg on Wednesday, November
      2nd from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
