      CHARLES LEWIS HARDILEK, 82, born Oct. 28, 1922 passed away Sept. 29, 2005.
       
       He was preceded in death by his parents Amelia Klish Hradilek and Benjamin Hradilek, brothers John and Ben Hradilek, sister Mary Curtis Hradilek, great grandson Charles Gabriel Waling and wife, Alma Nolen Hardilek of 37 years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jo Frances Gaertner Hardilek; son, Charles Edward Hardilek and wife Dale of Hallettsville, TX, son Tom and wife Sandra Hardilek of Boerne, TX, son Robert and wife Cathy Hardilek of Livingston, TX, daughter Sharon Hardilek Wilkens and husband Paul of Round Rock, TX, daughter, Dolores Hardilek Elliott and husband Steve of Hallettsville, TX; grandchildren Charles Anthony Hardilek, Kathe Hardilek Waling, Zachariah and Scott Hardilek, Robyn and Kristen Wilkens, and Tony and Justin Boleware; great grandchildren, Kyle Waling, Nicholas Hardilek, Elaine Hardilek and Brom Hardilek.
       
      "Charlie" retired from Reed Tool Co. in 1986 after 44 yrs. He was a devoted member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church for 46 yrs., giving selflessly much of his time, energy and heart to any and everyone he ever met or knew. He was a very creative and resourceful individual who used talents often prior to and after his retirement on numerous projects and endeavors benefiting his parish and the community.
       
      Family and friends are invited for visitation Sunday evening, October 2, 2005 prior to a 7:00 rosary at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church located at 6725 Reed Rd, Houston, TX. A memorial mass will be held Monday morning, October 3, 2005 at 10:00 at the church with graveside service Monday at 4:00 pm at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hallettsville, TX. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you send contributions to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 6723 Whitefriars Dr, Houston, TX 77087.
