Albert Edwin KachelALBERT EDWIN KACHEL, entered into eternal rest on August 27, 2005. Born October 5, 1918 in Pearland, Texas, he graduated from Milby High School and enlisted in the Navy where he served as a submariner in WWII. He was employed with Shell Oil Co. for 33 years. He was a lifetime member of US Submarine Veterans WWII, Texas Chapter, and an active member of Sagemont Church.He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Juanita, daughter, Judy and husband, John Andrew of Friendswood; daughter-in-law, Patti Kachel of Pearland; grandchildren, Kahla Malinsky and Husband, Matt of London, England, Andrew Gray of Washington, DC, David Andrew and wife, Katherine of NY, NY; great-grandaighter, Ella Nicole Malinsky and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his sons, Kenneth Albert and Roy Willis and daughter, Sandra Kay. The family would like to express to Dr. Sahba Nadeem, Dr. Nasir, Sagemont Church family, A-Med Hospice and Mary Eubanks, caregiver, for their support, love and exceptional care.Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, September 2, 2005 at Southpark Funeral Home. Funeral services September 3, 2005 at 11:00 am at Southpark Funeral Home with interment immediately following.
