      LUDMILA "LILLIE" CHUNDA, 97, of Shiner, Texas, died May 1, 2005.
       
      Lillie was born November 7, 1907 in Shiner, Texas to the late John and Ludmilla Krejci Dusek. She was a homemaker, member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church and KJZT Society for 50 years.
       
      She is survived by daughters, Georgie Pokulda of Shiner and Helen Kainer of Houston; son, John Chunda of Livingston; sister, Beatrice Vincik of Shiner; brother. John Dusek of Pasadena 13 grandchildren; 1 step-grandchild; 17 great-grandchildren; and 5 step-grandchildren.
       
      Services will be Wednesday, May 4, 2005, 10:30 am. at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Rev. Robert Knippenberg officiating. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 3, 7:30 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in, the Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
       
       Services are under the direction of Buffington Funeral Home, 520 N. Ave. C, Shiner, Texas, (361) 594-3352.

      SHINER - Ludmila "Lillie" Dusek Chunda, 97, of Shiner, died Sunday, May 1, 2005.

      She was born Nov. 7, 1907, in Shiner, to the late John and Ludmilla Krejci Dusek. She was a homemaker, a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, and a 50-year member of the KJZT Society.

      Survivors: daughters, Georgie Pokluda of Shiner and Helen Kainer of Houston; son, John Chunda of Livingston; sister, Beatrice Vincik of Shiner; brother, John Dusek of Pasadena; 13 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; 17 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.

      Preceded in death by: husband, Joseph Chunda; son, Jerome Chunda; sisters, Francis Tesar, Agnes Craft, Mary Vaclavik, Justine Svoboda, and Louise Call; and brothers, Jim Dusek and Jerry Dusek.

      A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. tonight at Buffington Funeral Home chapel.

      Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the Rev. Robert Knippenberg officiating.

      Burial will be at Shiner Catholic Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Shiner, 361-594-3352.
