RICHMOND - Agnes Louise Janak, 86, of Richmond and formerly of Boling, died Sunday, May 1, 2005.
She was born Jan. 19, 1919, in Hallettsville, to the late Alois and Mary Jalufka Opela. She was a homemaker and a member of KJZT, and St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Alter Society in Boling.
Survivors: daughters, Stephanie Smolik of Houston and Dianne Lowdermilk of Tomball; sons, Leon Janak of Richmond and Jordan Janak of Bakersfield, Calif.; sisters, Lillie Satsky, Gussie Kurtz, and Theresa Brusch, all of Hallettsville, and Helen Wall and Mary Pekar, both of Houston; brother, Adolph Opela of Hallettsville; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husband, Henry Jordan Janak; two sisters; and two brothers.
Visitation will begin 9 a.m. Tuesday at Wharton Funeral Home chapel.
A rosary will be recited 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Boling, the Rev. Joe Vrana officiating.
