      GANADO - Adolph Joe Vyvial, 85, of Ganado, died Monday, April 25, 2005. He was born Tuesday, December 23, 1919 in Louise, Texas, to the late Frank Joseph and Anna Fojt Vyvial. He was a retired cotton and grain farmer and a long-time member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Ganado, Texas, Ganado VFW Auxiliary Post 3497, American Legion Post 346 and Ganado Young Farmers. He was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Corporal in the U.S. Army 887 Chemical Company Air Operations, Siapan, Asiatic Pacific Theater of Operations.

      In addition to his parents Frank and Anna, he was preceded in death by brothers Roman, Edward, William and George Vyvial, and sisters Agatha Hartman, Hilda O'Day, Wilhemina Dicus, Alma Hicks, and Emilee Anderson.

      Survivors include wife of 58 years, Rosalee Mary Macha Vyvial; children, James Wayne Vyvial, Johnny Allen Vyvial, Daniel Gene Vyvial and wife Ben Lois, Linda Ann Chanek and husband Lewis, Randy Lee Vyvial, Carol Elaine Olsovsky and husband John; sister, Betty Lang; brothers, Allen Elgin, Elmont, and Ben Vyvial; grandchildren, Vicki Conner and husband Garrett, Kristi Vyvial, Jason Chanek and Misty Chanek; great-grandchild, Lauren Conner and numerous nieces and nephews.

      Services are pending under the direction of Ganado Funeral Home, 361-771-2120. Pallbearers include Jason Chanek, Garrett Conner, Ronald Vyvial, Michael O'Day, Dennis Bures, and Pat Vyvial. Honorary pallbearers include Vicki Conner, Kristi Vyvial, Misty Chanek, Sam Bures, Leo Macha, John Macha, Shane Rickaway, Charles Smith, and VFW Auxiliary Post 3497.
