      Edward F. Zarosky, born June 22, 1927 to Frank and Eva Zarosky in Cameron, Texas passed away April 1, 2005 in Houston, Texas after a courageous battle with leukemia.
       
       Mr. Zarosky was a lifetime resident of Houston Heights and retired from W.K.M. after 35 years of service. He was a member of SPJST Lodge 88, the VFW and KD. Mr. Zarosky proudly served his country for four years in the Air Force during the Korean War. He is preceded in death by his parents and one great-grandson, Wade Smith.
       
       Mr. Zarosky is survived by his wife of almost 53 years, Ottilia Zarosky; children, Elizabeth Spillars and husband, Doug, Albert Zarosky and wife, Lisa, Daniel Zarosky and wife, Theresa and Walter Zarosky and wife, Alanna; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren to whom he was affectionately known as "PoPo"; sisters, Agnes Tepera and Marcella Dohnalik and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
       
      The family will receive friends at Heights Funeral Home from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2005 with Msgr. Adam McClosky saying the Rosary at 5:00 p.m. There will be a visitation from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 4, 2005 at Marek-Burns Funeral Home in Cameron, Texas. The funeral mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Marak, Texas with Reverend Walter Danwar officiating. Interment will follow in Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery.
