      Cheryl Ann Tajchman

      1945-2005

      Cheryl Ann Tajchman of Stockdale, Texas, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the age of 59.

      Cheryl was born in Corpus Christi on July 28, 1945, to Norman Douglas and Virginia Tiny Moore Bailey.

      Cheryl had worked for several years as an emergency medical technician at the Stockdale and Longhorn volunteer fire departments. She was employed at the emergency management office at the Floresville courthouse.

      She was preceded in death by her parents.

      Survivors include her husband, Robert E. Tajchman; her daughter, Caryn Elaine Lindley and husband Les; a granddaughter, Meagan Boehnke; a brother, Norman Russell Bailey; her aunts, Mae Bratcher and Laura Fay Ellison; sisters-in-law Frances Hicks and husband Gary and Julie Prejean and husband Harold; brothers-in-law David Tajchman and wife Susie and Dan Tajchman and wife Marian; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

      Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 28, in the St. James Catholic Church in Seguin with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. in the church.

      A Mass of Christian burial was recited at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Dennis Darilek officiating.

      Interment followed at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Stockdale Cemetery.

      Serving as pallbearers were Norman Russell Bailey, David Tajchman, Dan Tajchman, Rudy Vanecek, Les Lindley, and Gary Hicks.

      Memorial contributions may be made to the St. James Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society, the Stockdale Cemetery Association, the Longhorn Volunteer Fire Department, or the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department.
