      Alma Korenek

      Alma Annie Korenek, 90, of El Campo, died Sunday, March 6, 2005 in El
      Campo.
      She was born April 4, 1913 in Fayetteville to Joseph and Rosie Zbranek
      Urbanovsky. Mrs. Korenek was a homemaker and a member of St. Philip the
      Apostle Catholic Church.

      Survivors include her sons, J.V. Korenek and Alvin Korenek both of El
      Campo; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three
      great-great- grandchildren.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Alvin Korenek;
      and sister, Lillie Zapalac.

      A Parish Rosary was recited Monday, March 7 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Philip
      the Apostle Catholic Church. Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at
      St. Philip's with the Rev. Gary Janak officiating. Interment followed at
      Holy Cross Memorial Park.

      Pallbearers were Mark Korenek, Jay Korenek, Drew Brady, R.J. Riedel,
      Ricky Riedel and Dennis Korenek.

      Memorials in memory of Alma Korenek may be made to the St. Philip School
      Endowment Fund or Hospice Support, Inc.
