YOAKUM - Marion C. "Mrs. O" Olsovsky, 77, of Yoakum, died Friday, March 4, 2005.
She was born July 11, 1927, in Lawrence, Mass., to the late Bertram Harold and Myrtle G. Eastman Burns. She was a school teacher for Alice and Yoakum I.S.D., and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a member of Philomathic Club, and the Yoakum Community Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors: husband, Louis Olsovsky Sr.; daughters, Janet Pfost of Hempstead, Judy Grubert of Yoakum, Jean Adams of Sealy, and Mary Tinney of Alice; son, Louis Olsovsky Jr. of Omaha, Neb; sister, Kay Burns of Lawrence, Mass.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today, with a rosary to be recited 7 p.m. at Buffington Funeral Home chapel.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, the Rev. Roger Hawes and Deacon Linard Harper officiating.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Buffington Funeral Home, Yoakum, 361-293-2333.
Memorials: American Heart Association, St. Joseph Church, or American Diabetes Association.
