      CISTERN - Christine Michalik Psencik, 98, of Cistern, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2004.

      She was born March 21, 1906, in Bluff, to the late John and Veronica Blaha Michalik. She was a member of Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern, and the KJZT Society in Smithville.

      Survivors: sons, Felix Psencik of San Antonio and John Psencik of Eagle Lake; four grandchildren; and10 great-grandchildren.

      Preceded in death by: husband, Felix Mat Psencik; son, Leo Louis Psencik; sisters, Emelie Michalik Konarik, Albina Michalik Vyvjala, Otillia Michalik Psencik, and Matilda Michalik Svoboda; brothers, John Michalik Jr. and Louis Michalik.

      A rosary was recited Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at Marrs-Jones Funeral Home chapel.

      Services were held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Saints Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the Rev. Edward Bartsch officiating.

      Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Smithville. Marrs-Jones Funeral Home, Smithville, 512-237-2425.

      Pallbearers were: Jeffery S. Psencik, Wayne Psencik, Harold Black, Jeffery Ryan Psencik, and Nathan Vrazel.
