      Mr. Adolph E. Bialek, Sr., 84, of Victoria passed away Thursday, September 30, 2004. He was born December 4, 1919, in Fordtran, Texas, to the late Adolph D. and Albina Shulak Bialek.

      Mr. Bialek is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christine Lewis Bialek, of Victoria; son, Adolph F. Bialek, Jr., and his wife, Cynthia, of Victoria; a step-son, Gene Boerm of Port O'Connor; sister, Rose Mae Berger of Victoria; grandchildren, Jenny Bialek of Friona and Adolph F. "Bubba" Bialek of Victoria; niece, Ida Mae Tassos of San Diego, California; nephew, Charles J. Najvar of Houston.

      In addition to his parents Mr. Bialek was preceded in death by his son, Frank E. Bialek; sisters, Carrie Bialek, Ida Pesek, Maggie Huehlefeld and Eva Najvar; brothers, Joe E. Bialek and Frank E. Bialek; and niece, Sister Alma Najvar.

      A Rosary was recited Friday, October 1, 2004, at 7:00 P. M. at Rosewood Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be Saturday, October 2, 2004, at 2:00 P. M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Yoakum, Rev. Peter Yeboah-Amanfo officiating.

      Pallbearers will be Bubba Bialek, Jenny Bialek, Billy Beldin, Zeb York, Charles J. Najvar, Thomas Crow, Bill Vincent and James Novak.

      Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
