      HOBSON - Theresa Dolores Bednorz, 74, of Hobson, died Saturday, July 24,
      2004.

      She was born July 12, 1930, in Panna Maria, to the late Henry and Susie
      Lyssy Pieprzyca. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary's Catholic
      Church and the Altar Society in Panna Maria and the Panna Maria Historical
      Society.

      Survivors: husband, Conrad Bednorz; daughter, Susie Lyssy of Falls City;
      sons, Johnny Bednorz of Katy, Jimmy Bednorz of San Antonio, Jerry Bednorz,
      Henry Bednorz, Keith Bednorz and Gary Bednorz, all of Hobson, and Glen
      Bednorz of Panna Maria; sisters, Eleanor Manka of Panna Maria, Lorraine
      Chandler of Hobson, Peggy Buehring of Karnes City, and Rosalie Walker of
      Kileen, Ala.; brother, Alvin Pieprzyca of Koscuisko; eight grandchildren;
      and one great-grandchild.

      Preceded in death by: brothers, Lambert Pieprzyca and Emil Pieprzyca.

      A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at Rhodes Funeral Home chapel.

      Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Panna
      Maria, the Rev. Wojciech Reisch officiating.

      Burial will be at Panna Maria Cemetery. Rhodes Funeral Home, Karnes City,
      830-780-3334.

        Theresa D. Bednorz
        1930-2004

        Theresa Dolores Bednorz of Hobson, Texas, passed away on Saturday,
        July 24, 2004, at the age of 74 years and 12 days.

        She was born on July 12, 1930, in Panna Maria to Henry and Susie
        Lyssy Pieprzyca.

        She was married to Conrad Bednorz on Nov. 10, 1947.

        Mrs. Bednorz spent all of her life in Hobson. She was a housewife.

        She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Panna Maria, where
        she was a member of the Altar Society. She also was a member of the
        Panna Maria Historical Society.

        She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Lambert
        Pieprzyca and Emil Pieprzyca.

        Survivors include her husband, Conrad Bednorz of Hobson; sons Johnny
        Bednorz of Katy, Jimmy Bednorz and wife Louise of San Antonio, Glen
        Bednorz and wife Kim of Panna Maria, and Jerry Bednorz, Henry
        Bednorz, Keith Bednorz, and Gary Bednorz, all of Hobson; a daughter,
        Susie Lyssy of Falls City; a brother, Alvin Pieprzyca of Kosciusko;
        sisters Eleanor Manka of Panna Maria, Lorraine Chandler of Hobson,
        Peggy Buehring of Karnes City, and Rosalie Walker of Kileen, Ala.;
        grandchildren Sharon Bednorz, Kelly Lyssy, Stephen Bednorz, Terry
        Lyssy, Craig Bednorz, Amber Bednorz, Kourtney Cowan, and Justin
        Cowan; and great-grandchild Megan Pollock.

        A rosary was recited on Tuesday, July 27, at 7 p.m. in the Rhodes
        Funeral Home Chapel in Karnes City.

        Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's
        Catholic Church in Panna Maria with the Rev. Wojciech Reisch
        officiating.

        Interment will follow in the Panna Maria Cemetery.

        Pallbearers will be Mark and Randy Pieprzyca, Harvey Pieprzyca,
        Edward Chandler, John Chandler, and Felix John Manka.
